Depart from Mumbai in the morning by train or bus to Igatpuri (Approximately ₹300 for a bus ticket).
From Igatpuri, hire a private taxi or take a shared jeep to Purushwadi (Approximately ₹1,000).
Check-in at a local homestay or camping site in Purushwadi (Approximately ₹1,000 per night).
Freshen up and have lunch at the accommodation (Approximately ₹300).
In the evening, head out for the Fireflies Festival experience. Enjoy the mesmerizing sight of fireflies lighting up the night sky.
Dinner at the homestay or a local restaurant (Approximately ₹300).
Day 2: Purushwadi and Village Exploration
After breakfast at the homestay (Approximately ₹200), take a guided village walk in Purushwadi to explore the rural lifestyle and interact with the locals.
Visit the village school, farms, and interact with the villagers to understand their way of life.
Have lunch at a local village household or at the homestay (Approximately ₹300).
Optional: Visit the nearby Bhandardara Dam and enjoy the scenic beauty of the area.
In the evening, participate in cultural activities organized by the locals, such as folk dances and music.
Dinner at the homestay or a local restaurant (Approximately ₹300).
Day 3: Purushwadi to Tringalwadi Fort and Mumbai
After breakfast at the homestay (Approximately ₹200), check out and bid farewell to Purushwadi.
Take a shared jeep or private taxi to Tringalwadi Fort (Approximately ₹500).
